Job description: Job Purpose Statement: The Sales Representative is responsible for driving revenue growth by building strong relationships with distributors and customers, understanding their business needs, and recommending company solutions that deliver value. This role combines consultative selling, technical product knowledge, and hands-on customer support, including demonstrations, training, and post-sale assistance. Job Functions: · Present, promote, and sell company products and services using strong product and application knowledge. · Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers, distributors, and internal stakeholders. · Travel to customer sites, distributor locations, trade shows, and industry events as needed, including extended trips. · Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate product solutions, configurations, or modifications. · Introduce existing customers to new products, features, and enhancements. · Prepare price quotations, lead-time estimates, and sales orders in accordance with company guidelines and approval requirements. · Coordinate and support machine testing, demonstrations, and quality checks prior to shipment. · Provide on-site training and technical guidance to customer operators, engineers, and maintenance personnel on equipment setup, operation, and maintenance. · Train distributor and dealer personnel on company products and applications; participate in joint sales calls as needed. · Achieve assigned sales targets by managing territory performance, tracking activity, and maintaining accurate sales and status reports. · Support marketing, research and development, and trade show initiatives through customer feedback, collaboration, and participation. · Monitor market conditions, customer trends, and competitor activity to identify opportunities and risks. · Maintain accurate records, documentation, and files related to sales activity and customer interactions. · Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment. · Perform additional duties as assigned in support of business objectives.
